Refund and Returns Policy

Please read this Refund and Returns Policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order on our Site, you agree to be bound by the terms, conditions, and restrictions outlined below.


1. NO-REFUND-ONLY POLICY (MANDATORY RETURN REQUIRED)

We operate under a strict No-Refund-Only Policy. We value fair trade and structural product integrity. Therefore, we do not issue refunds under any circumstances unless the physical product is successfully returned to our designated warehouse first.

  • No Merchandise Kept: Customers cannot keep the ordered product and receive a monetary refund simultaneously.
  • No Verification, No Refund: We do not issue instant refunds based solely on emails, phone descriptions, or verbal claims.
  • Physical Inspection: Every single item must be shipped back, received, and physically inspected by our warehouse quality control team before any financial compensation, credit, or replacement is initiated.
  • Refusal of Delivery: If you refuse delivery of a parcel from the courier without our prior written authorization, the package must safely arrive back at our facility and pass inspection before any refund processing begins.

2. ELIGIBILITY WINDOW FOR RETURNS

We offer a 30-day return window. You have exactly 30 calendar days from the date your tracking number shows the package was successfully delivered to initiate a return request.

If 30 days have passed since your delivery date, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund, store credit, or product exchange.


3. RETURN CONDITION REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for a valid return and subsequent refund, your item must meet all of the following strict criteria:

  • Unused Condition: The item must be completely unused, unwashed, unaltered, and in the exact same condition that you received it.
  • Original Packaging: The item must be returned inside its original, undamaged packaging, including all original boxes, internal padding, protective wraps, and plastic bags.
  • Complete Components: All accessories, instruction manuals, labels, tags, components, and promotional free gifts that arrived with the item must be included in the return package.
  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid order number, receipt, or invoice from our Site.

We reserve the right to deny a return request or apply a heavy restocking fee (up to 50%) if the item arrives back at our warehouse damaged, missing pieces, or showing clear signs of usage.


4. RETURN PROCESS STEPS

To return an item, you must strictly follow our standardized return procedure:

  1. Submit a Request: Contact our customer service team via email at cloverx@householdstoragebox.com within the 30-day window. State your order number and your specific reason for the return.
  2. Review & RMA Issue: Our team will review your claim. If it meets basic criteria, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide the correct warehouse return shipping address. Do not send items back without an official RMA number.
  3. Pack Securely: Securely place the item in its original packaging along with the RMA slip.
  4. Ship the Item: Mail your package using a reliable courier service. You must use a shipping service that provides an online tracking number and shipping insurance. We are not responsible for return packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged during transit back to us.

5. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

  • Customer Responsibility: Customers are fully responsible for paying all return shipping costs, customs duties, and local taxes associated with returning the item.
  • Non-Refundable Fees: Original shipping fees paid at the time of purchase are completely non-refundable.
  • Deductions: If we provide a prepaid return label for a specific approved case, the exact cost of that return shipping label will be directly deducted from your final refund amount.

6. INSPECTION AND REFUND PROCESSING TIME

Once your returned package arrives at our facility, the process unfolds as follows:

  • Inspection Stage: Our quality control team will open and inspect the package within 5 to 7 business days of arrival to verify the condition and completeness of the product.
  • Notification Email: We will send you an automated email to notify you that we have received your returned item and will explicitly state whether your refund has been approved or rejected based on item condition.
  • Financial Processing: If approved, your refund will be immediately processed. A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (credit card, debit card, or PayPal).
  • Bank Timeline: Please note that financial institutions take time to clear transactions. It typically takes 7 to 14 business days for the refunded amount to officially show up on your bank statement or credit card bill.

7. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive an item that is fundamentally defective, physically damaged upon arrival, or if we accidentally shipped you the wrong product, our strict return policy still applies:

  • Immediate Reporting: You must report the damage or defect to cloverx@householdstoragebox.com within 48 hours of package delivery. You must attach clear, high-resolution photos and video evidence of the defect.
  • Mandatory Return: Even for defective items, the item must be mailed back to us for testing and verification. We will not issue a refund while you keep the defective product.
  • Shipping Cost Coverage: For verified manufacturing defects or warehouse picking errors, we will reimburse you for the return shipping costs or provide a prepaid shipping label once the item is inspected and the defect is confirmed.

8. EXCHANGES AND STORE CREDIT

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you wish to exchange an item for a different color, size, or a completely different product model, you must treat this as a standard return:

  1. Return the original product to our warehouse following the process in Section 4.
  2. Once the return is accepted and processed, you can choose to receive a store credit voucher or place a brand new, separate order on our Site for the desired item.

9. EXEMPTIONS AND NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following types of items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Custom-made, personalized, or modified household items.
  • Items purchased during clearance sales, flash sales, or explicitly marked as “Final Sale”.
  • Gift cards and digital vouchers.
  • Products showing clear wear, scratches, or cosmetic damage caused by user mishandling, drop damage, or improper assembly.
